2 Days Mt. Hanang Trekking

WHY THIS ITINERARY?

Mount Hanang is a dead volcanic mountain remotely located about 200 kilometres in the south-west of Arusha. With its highest point standing at the height of 3,420 meters above sea level; Mount Hanang is Tanzania’s fourth highest mountain. Its extinct volcanic crater makes for a stunning feature above the undulating plains. The two days climb takes trackers through numerous tribal areas, including the semi-nomadic Barbaig recognisable by their goatskin garments.
